Duties & Responsibilities Develop and maintain high-level, multi-threaded, distributed control software for our Neptune product, an automated hard drive tester.
Extend existing code base to support CentOS.
Responsibilities will include the design, implementation, maintenance and testing of software, as well as working close with hardware.
On-site customer support may be required, which will include defining interfaces and re- hosting test programs.
This position involves travel (domestic and international).
Basic Qualifications, Experience, Skills & Education Required
Minimum five years with BS/BA in ComputerScience, or equivalent experience is required.
Experience developing cross- platform applications for Windows and Linux is required. Knowledge of object-oriented design, .NET, multithreading and C#, C/C++ is desired. Knowledge of .NET Remoting, Managed C++, Mono and XML are a plus.
The project uses Microsoft and Linux tools. As such, familiarity with development/debugging on Windows XP with Visual Studio and using various IDE's and debug tools on Linux is required.
